Pleasure Factory (Kuaile Gongchang) is a 2007 Singaporean-Thai docudrama film set in Geylang, the red-light district of Singapore. Directed by Ekachai Uekrongtham, the film was selected for the Un Certain Regard competition at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
A series of intertwining tales involve “pleasure seekers and pleasure providers” during the course of one night in Geylang, Singapore’s red-light district. There are three distinct stories, united only by the presence of characters from all the stories in a street side eatery:
Jonathan, who has yet to lose his virginity, is escorted around Geylang by his army buddy, Kiat, who wants to help his friend make his passage into manhood. The two men visit various brothels, where the touts bestow the various qualities and nationalities of their women, who hail from China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and elsewhere.
Jonathan eventually settles on a young Chinese woman whom he envisions being wrapped in a towel .A teenage girl is called to meet an older prostitute in a hotel room, where the older woman, Linda, is servicing a heavyset older man, who wants to take the younger girl’s virginity. The girl is followed to the hotel by a young man named Chris. When she goes in the hotel room, Chris sits outside and waits.
A woman in a red dress gets in a convertible with a man. She later shows up at the streetside restaurant and pays a young busker for his “special song”, which he doesn’t end up singing, and instead is taken back to the woman’s room.

Rumored for a few weeks now as the N95’s successor in waiting, the mighty N96 dual slider has gone all official on us at Mobile World Congress today.
Though the phone it replaces is still a beast by any measure, the N96 pushes the envelope further by packing a solid 16GB of storage internally in addition to a microSD slot, something the N95 8GB lacks.
The 5 megapixel autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens carries over, but there are now two LEDs doing flash and video light duty.
The 2.8 inch QVGA display will come in handy for the integrated DVB-H mobile TV tuner, while a 3.5mm headphone jack, A2DP, and integrated stereo speakers should handle audio with aplomb.
Other features include WiFi, AGPS, and morphing lights on the smaller second slide that hook the user up with game controls when it’s time to relax with a little N-Gage action.
Unfortunately, the first version of the N96 (and the only version announced thus far) supports HSDPA only on the 900 and 2100MHz bands, but we imagine the strength of the spec sheet should still be enough to sell a few of these stateside when it launches in the third quarter for €550 (about $797).
wooohoooo…. 16GB internal memory is power, plus the additional Micro SD, this is a phone that really made portable storage on your mobile phone a breeze. Hmmmm, I wonder how much will my current Classic N95’s trade-in value be when this new phone model arrives… very very very TEMPTING! lol…
The above video is clearly the best example of how hackers worked their way into making innovative methods to “help” the consumer market achieve better functions on some products and indirectly helped the vendors make extra bucks by promoting their products through such unethical hacking practice. Anyway, iPhone is way too overrated, the current model don’t even have 3G. So… what’s the point of buying an iPhone without 3G capability? Will you?
Prison Break Stunner: Sarah Wayne Callies to return!
Prison Break fans, prepare to seriously lose your heads.Sarah Wayne Callies — whose rather ugly contract dispute with producers led to her apparent decapitation last October — is returning next season. Full-time. As Dr. Sara Tancredi. Head and all. Seriously.
How? Why? When? WTF?! All legitimate questions. Good thing I just hung up with Mr. Answer Man (aka executive producer Matt Olmstead).
So… I take it that wasn’t Sara’s head in that box….
Matt Olmstead: Yeah, that wasn’t.
But initially it was supposed to be her head. What changed?
Olmstead: What changed was…. once we realized that the emotional hook of Season 3 was going to be the death of Sara, when we didn’t get the actress to do it, as soon as we wrote it and shot it, we realized that there was actually a way she could still be alive. Lincoln glanced at the head in the box for a split second. That could’ve been anyone. He wasn’t about to pull it up from the hair and inspect it closely. And then we were fairly careful thereafter of references we made to that and who took credit for it and what was seen or heard, and we left it fairly [vague]. But initially when we realized that we never actually saw the character get killed, we just had that knowledge in our back pocket and moved forward with the narrative as we intended. Which was: she’s out of the picture, Michael’s [feeling guilty] and Lincoln is freaking out because if they did that to her, they could do that to his son. It really gave us a real push for the season.
